There’s a new opportunity to earn badges called the National Outdoor Awards. You start with a center emblem patch and you add a “badge segment” every time you complete one of the 5 outdoor activity areas which include riding, hiking, camping, aquatics, and adventure. You also can also earn silver and gold devices to add to each segment for meeting additional requirements.
How about really challenging yourself with a long term goal of achieving the National Medal for Outdoor Achievement by fulfilling the requirements given, which include a combination of National Outdoor Badges with other criteria.
